Description
The Magic Circle Heat Sensitive Wall Toy turns body heat into instant art. Children press their hands, fingers, and palms against the 18″ color-changing surface and watch their prints and designs appear in vivid contrast before slowly fading back to solid color.
The reset is what makes it magic: the surface always returns to its base state, inviting children to draw, erase, and draw again endlessly without any mess, supplies, or staff involvement.

How It Works
The surface contains a temperature-sensitive material that reacts to body heat. When a child presses their hand or finger against the panel, the warmth changes the color of the surface at the point of contact, revealing the print or design in contrasting color.
When the hand is removed, the image slowly fades back as the surface returns to room temperature, and the process can begin again immediately. The cause-and-effect loop is simple, immediate, and endlessly satisfying, particularly for children who benefit from predictable, repeatable sensory interactions.
Available in Blue, Red, and Green to match your environment. Made in the USA by Playscapes/Gressco and covered by a two-year warranty.
Installation and Performance Notes
Mount on an interior wall away from direct sunlight
Direct sunlight raises the surface temperature and interferes with responsiveness, and can shorten the life of the heat-sensitive material. Choose an interior wall location with consistent, moderate temperature for best performance and longest product life.
Best performance between 68 and 73 degrees
If the surface responds sluggishly or images appear faint, the room temperature is likely below 68 degrees. If the surface shows color when not in use, the room is too warm. Standard climate-controlled office and clinical environments perform well within the optimal range.
Cleaning
The surface is commercial grade and can be cleaned with most commercial disinfectant solutions using the same protocols as furniture and other high-contact surfaces. Avoid ammonia-based cleaners on the heat-sensitive surface, as ammonia can cause cloudiness.
Looking for the hand-shaped version? The Magic Hands Heat Sensitive Wall Toy features a pair of hand-shaped panels and offers the same heat-sensitive interaction in a different format.
